A few photographs, one at a time. No rush.
It was a short hike to the lookout. But with a view like this, it still felt very satisfying.
A long walk at low tide brought me a long distance away from Noumea. Thankfully, no rising tide caught me out. The panorama does make it look further away than it was.
Making it to Aitutaki was a dream realised. Sometimes a place is not what you expect. Aitutaki was better than I hoped. Obvious from this photo.
Dusk from the window seat. The day ending somewhere below, the stars rising above.
Reality slap. The day after returning from the peace of Rarotonga, this was the main intersection near my apartment in Hawthorn.
The morning sun found the espresso. Soon enough, though, the espresso found me.
Sometimes the photo just has to do the talking. This place is always best left for quiet reflection.
Under the boardwalk the creek was finding its own way, making its own path. I was just there to observe.
A day like this at Cradle Mountain is to be treasured and remembered. This was taken near Marions Lookout.
Missing here from my coffee setup is the main piece, the Brua3 Max. Manual espresso is my passion. So expect this photo to be replaced...
This kookaburra absolutely owned this stump. Fair enough. They were here long before us.
Late sun on the 9th fairway at Lost Farm. The golfers have all left; now it's time for the wallabies to roam.
Concrete overhead, paint on the pylons, gums coming up through the gravel. What an amazing way to improve the city for the people below and those above using public transport.
I size myself up against a gum tree that's been here ten of my lifetimes. It's bigger and tougher by far.
